The Rotary Club of Paducah/McCracken County sponsors an annual Quilt Show
to coincide with the Big AQS Quilting Convention. It is held the same four days as the AQS show a few miles away down Park Avenue at the Robert Cherry Civic Center, next to Noble Park. The 2009 exhibit featured twenty four antique quilts from the collection of Bobbie Aug and Gerald Roy, curators of antique quilts. The Rotary Show also displayed collections from the Hoffman Challenge, a contest combining quilting, clothing, and doll collections. In 2009 the Hoffman Challenge celebrated its 18th year. Rounding out the event, the Rotary Show's Merchant Mall hosted booths and displays from 16 vendors. A small entry fee is charged for the show but all proceeds go to the Rotary Education Assistance Program providing financial aid to needy students.
Below are pictures of some of Jo's favorites of the collection of twenty four Antigua quilts.

Antique Quilts weren't the only antiques on display. Jo was drooling over these two antique Singer sewing machines. She'd love to have one of these babies. > > >
