We were in town to attend "Quiltfest on the Mississippi" which Jo and her sister and neice attended, while I (Ross) wandered about town enjoying a nice fall day.
After strolling around the river front and downtown, I decided to drive to Grandad's Bluff to get a hawk's eye view of the city. Bliss Road, the normal and quickest way to get to Grandad, was closed for repairs. So I had to take the long way - Hwy 33 to Hwy F to Grandad Bluff Road. Was a good day for seeing the city and the fall colors as you'll see from some of the photos below.
