Quiltfest on the Mississippi - La Crosse, Wisconsin
In October 2008, Jo, her sister Donna and neice Karyn attended "Quiltfest on the Mississippi " - presented by The La Crosse Area Quilters. Over 300 quilts and other items were on display.
Held at the La Crosse Center, Jo, Donna and Karyn were not disappointed. On the day they attended, they were fortunate to catch a special costumed lecture on antique quilts by Chris Lynn Kirsch. (www.chrisquilts.net) Complimenting the quilt exhibits were over 20 quilt vendor booths.
The next Quiltfest on the Mississippi will be held in October 2017.
