Red Wing Stoneware & Red Wing Pottery
Red Wing Stoneware's factory and outlet store is located off US Highway 61 on the western edge of town. The company and its products date back to the 1860's. At one time, several potteries operated in Red Wing under various names.

< < < The factory outlet store is full of collectibles and highly functional and attractive stoneware products.
|
Red Wing Pottery is a third generation family business spanning 140 years. Its main store and studio is located on Old West Main St. near the Pottery Place Mall.

< < < Visitors to the Red Wing Pottery Store and Studio can watch pottery being hand-made by skilled artisans.

In addition to their own pottery and stoneware, the outlet store offers an
extensive collection of Fiesta Ware™
reminding me of the
plates and bowls I used as a kid.

Red Wing Golfing - Mississippi National
Red Wing's public golf club offers 36 holes, the Tournament Course and the Highlands Course. We played the Highlands and found it challenging and fun. Note it is not a course you want to walk!

Red Wing Cafes and Restaurants |
Red Wing is blessed with some great restaurants, pubs, and cafes. A favorite spot to start out the morning is the Hanisch Bakery and Coffee Shop downtown on 3rd street. Lots of locals stop in for carry-out from the bakery. We joined others having breakfast inside. Several coffee selections and hundreds of pastries for the lighter breakfast and their breakfast sandwich is their most popular option for something more substantial.

Right around the corner on Main Street is the Brickhouse Pub & Grille, a favorite lunch and dinner spot. The bread for their sandwiches come from Hanisch's Bakery. Decent weather you can dine on their outdoor deck overlooking a lush garden or otherwise inside with comfortable booths.
